Where I've Been

You may have noticed that things have come to a screeching halt around here. I've had to make an extremely difficult decision and it's not one that I've taken lightly. I've been struggling with this for a few months now.

I LOVE finding deals and being able to share those deals with my friends and family! But, I've decided that I need to take a break from blogging. My family has suffered while I've been trying to find and pass on those great deals. I'm trying to find that balance in my life that will allow me to start blogging again.

Rite Aid is offering a new customer appreciation program starting this week. The Rite Aid Gift of Savings program starts on Sunday, 9/13/09. From now until 10/17/09, you enter all of your receipts into the Gift of Savings website. Then you will receive a Gift of Savings Certificate.

Smith's Case Lot Sale and New Rewards Program

Smith's Food & Drug has a new (to Utahns) rewards program starting September 9, 2009! Customers can make the switch to the new rewards program from the old Fresh Values program. You can also earn bonus points for switching before September 26, 2009. There should be an area at the front of each store with all of the information and new cards. Enrollment is free and will also offer the in store discounts that the Fresh Value card offered.

Earn one point for each dollar spent, excluding tobacco, alcohol, fuel and prescriptions. Accumulate 500 points and qualify for a $5 reward certificate good on any in store purchase. Each additional 100 points are worth $1. Rewards certificates are mailed quarterly. Earn up to $250 per quarter. There will be a number of opportunities to earn bonus points on select items.
